Obituary for Nancy Genesi

Nancy R. Genesi, 72, of Smithmill, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 in UPMC Altoona.
Born on March 3, 1945 in Fallentimber, she was the daughter of the late Timothy and Janet (Mackey) Shumosky.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ramey, where she served as a CCD Teacher and was part of the Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary Post 6321. She worked as a teller at CNB Bank.
She married James D. Genesi on March 19, 1966 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ramey. He preceded her in death in 2010.
Nancy is survived by a daughter, Tammy D. Fox, and her husband Barry, of Smithmill, and several cousins, and many loving friends.
Friends will be received at the Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Ramey on Tuesday from 5-8 PM and on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 AM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ramey, PA, with Fr. Zab Amar as celebrant. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
