Obituary for Maxine Laskowsky

Maxine Laskowsky, 81, of Philipsburg, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Nittany Medical Center, State College.

Born on December 27, 1935 in Madera, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Eva (Waite) Lindenberg.

Maxine was a member of St. Barbara PNCC in Houtzdale.

On November 8, 1952 in St. Barbara Catholic Church she married Charles F. Laskowsky, Sr. He preceded her in death on December 13, 2012.

She is survived by six children Randy (Pam) Laskowsky, Terry (Sharon) Laskowsky, Robin (Rick) Bush, Ricky (Tammy) Laskowsky, Gary Laskowsky, and Charles Laskowsky, Jr.; and a sister Alberta Dinant.

She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Terry Laskowsky, Jr., Dustin Bush, Kristina Zendek, Brandon Gardner, Brittany English, Cody Bush, Lindsey Neibauer, and Mindy Laskowsky ; and eight great-grandchildren, Dakota, Jayden, Hunter, Cohen, Jaqueline, Madison, Mason, and Kinlee.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother Ronald Lindenberg.

Family will receive friends 4-8 Monday and 8:30-9:30 AM Tuesday at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Madera.

Prayers of Transfer will be said Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM in St. Barbara’s Polish National Catholic Church, Houtzdale, with Fr. Andres Simental as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Barbara PNCC Cemetery.
