Susan Catherine Peters Muhaw, 64 of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia went home to be with the Lord at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee on September 22, 2018 surrounded by her children and loved ones.
Susie was born in Madera, Pennsylvania on April 28, 1954. She graduated from Glendale Jr./Sr. High School in 1972.
She is preceded in death by her parents Glenn Peters and Margaret (Alexander) Peters. Brothers, Gerald, Roy, and Gene Peters.
Susie is survived by her children Tobi (Kline) Scott Leiviska, Krista Muhaw, and Michael Muhaw Jr. Also, her three grandsons Charles, Jake, and Seth Leiviska.
She is also survived by her siblings Dave (Judy) Peters, Don (Peggy) Peters, Tom Peters, Jay (Cindy) Peters, Gaylee Peters, Jolene Derosier, and sister in law Darlene Peters. Also, several nieces and nephews.
Susie was of the Methodist faith. She valued her relationship with the Lord above all else. She enjoyed spending all her time with her children and grandsons. Her past time included working with her house plants and her beautiful flower garden.
Friends will be received Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 11am until the time of service at 2pm at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Madera. Rev. Robert Ford will officiate. Inurnment will be in Alexander Cemetery, Madera.
