Obituary for Agnes Rodkey
Agnes Marie Rodkey, 87, of Ramey, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital.
Born on June 22, 1935 in Ramey, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Whitesura) Lutz.
On June 25, 1955 she married Leonard Rodkey in St. Barbara’s Catholic Church, Houtzdale, he preceded her in death in 2016.
She was a member of St. Barbara’s PNCC in Houtzdale.
She is survived by a two sons, Alan J. Rodkey, and his girlfriend Tish Johnson, of Houtzdale, and Paul E. Rodkey, and his wife Lori, of Ramey; two grandchildren, Paul L. and Joshua R. Rodkey; a great-granchild, McKenna Lee Rodkey; step-grandchildren, Todd, Adam, and Ryan Reese, and Mikalyn Travis; nieces, Sharon and Joyce; and nephews, Norman and Michael.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother Michael Lutz, and a sister, Helen Lutz.
Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Thursday and 9:30-10:30 Friday at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Ramey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11am in St. Barbara’s Polish National Catholic Church, Houtzdale, with Father Andres Simental as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Barbara’s PNCC Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
