Obituary for Conrad "Bud" Uhrig

Conrad D. “Bud” Uhrig, Jr., 74, a longtime resident of Madera, and a truck driver, passed away on Friday, July 23 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born April 12, 1947 near Lemmen, South Dakota, he was the son of the late Conrad D. “Whitey” and Una Rachel (Davis) Uhrig.
Bud enlisted in the US Army while living in Green River, UT. He proudly served two tours in Vietnam. He was a life member of the Richard L. Beers VFW Post 7043 in Coalport.
He loved to sing and play his guitar. He never knew a stranger, was quick with a joke, and would give you the shirt off his back or his last dollar.
Bud is survived by his loving wife, Jean Uhrig; their son, John (Tabitha) Draisey; three daughters, Jessica Fulton, Condra Deane, and Maria; two brothers, Max S. Uhrig and Ken (Karen) Uhrig; two sisters, Geri (Bill) Delugt and Bonnie Bauchmoyer.
He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, and two brothers.
Bud will be missed, yet remembered by his many loving friends and family.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
