Obituary for Donald Gardner
Donald Gardner, 80, of Clearfield, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at home, surrounded by family.
Born in Clearfield on July 18, 1942, he was the son of the late Ralph T. Gardner and Hazel (Dixon) Gardner Flegal.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Jury) Gardner, four children, Jeannette Gardner-Bowersox of Enola, PA, Donald (Kathy) Gardner of York, PA, James (Dawn) Gardner of Salisbury, MD, and David (Amy) Gardner of Clearfield.
He is also survived by his twin brother Ronald (Sharon) Gardner, brother Andrew (Liz) Gardner, a sister, Ralphetta (Thomas) Moore, six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by twin brothers Herman and Thurman, Little Ronnie, Ralph (Sonny), and sisters Barbara Miller, Shirley Mascotti and Donna Sims.
Donald was fun loving and quit witted. He spent twenty-plus years as a disc jockey with his son and will be missed by those he entertained. His love for music and cars kept him entertained most of his life. He loved the Lord and looked forward to seeing his mom once again.
Friends will be received Thursday from 11am until the time of service at 1pm at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Ramey. Pastor James Knepp will officiate. Interment will follow in the Beulah Cemetery, Ramey.
