Obituary for Enlow Ray Campbell Jr.

Enlow R. "Brownie" Campbell, Jr., 86, of Smithmill, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Epworth Manor, Tyrone.

Born on April 26, 1931 in Blandburg, he was the son of the late Enlow R. and B. Catherine (Bouch) Campbell.

On October 22, 1955, Enlow married Phoebe Waite in Winchester, VA. She preceded him in death in 2004.

He is a US Navy veteran, where he served during the Korean War.

He was a life member of the Stephen Kandrach VFW Post 6321 in Smithmill. He was also a member of The International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 9.

Enlow will be deeply missed by three daughters, Shelia (Richard) Flick of State College, Lisa Vallery of Ephrata, Virginia Campbell of Smithmill; four sons, George Waite of Van Ormer, Enlow (Dorothy) Campbell, III of Stephens, PA, Sam (Tess) Campbell of Smithmill, and Ernest Campbell of Smithmill; Fifteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister, Alice Walker, two brothers, Vernon and Arthur Campbell, two grandchildren, Heather Phillips and Lacey Campbell, and two great-grandchildren, McKayla McCoy and Caydence Campbell.

Family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-8 PM and Wednesday from 9 AM until the time of service at 11 AM in Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Ramey. Pastor Neal Stevens will officiate. Interment with military honors will follow in Utahville Cemetery.
