Evelyn (Kost) Peslipsky, 94, of Houtzdale, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Windy Hill Village in Philipsburg..

Born March 25, 1921 Janesville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine (Rudiak) Kost.

Evelyn was a member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ramey.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Peslipsky of Houtzdale, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Metro Peslipsky; four sisters, Ann Kostura, Marie Youstic, Helen Kost, and Margaret Ludwig; and six brothers, Charles, Pete, Metro, Frank, John, and Infant George Kost. She was the last of her generation.

Friends will be received at the Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Ramey, PA on Wednesday from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM and on Thursday from 9:30-10:30 AM. A Parastas services will be sung at 7 PM Wednesday in the funeral home with Fr. Anthony Balistreri.

A Panikhida Service will be 11:00 AM Thursday at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ramey, PA, with Fr. Anthony Balistreri officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Ramey, PA.
