Frank Temchack, 88, of Smithmill, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at Lifecare Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born on September 18, 1929 in Almaden (Mine 28), he was the son of the late Wasco and Catherine (Lucieu) Temchack.
He worked for years at PennRail as a Trackman. He also worked as a coal miner and logger. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving to fish and hunt.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Lois (Phillips) Temchack; two daughters, Lisa Buhler of Slippery Rock and Annette Temchack-Olszewski of Centre Hall; two brothers, Stanley and Vladimir Temchack; a sister Arlene Temchack; and five grandchildren, Jessica DuFour, Chelsea Dufour, Nyomin Buhler, Rory Buhler, and Taylor Buhler.
He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight siblings.
Family will receive friends Thursday from 5 PM until the time of services at 7 PM in Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Ramey. Pastor Clare Pannebaker will officiate. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 AM in Beulah Cemetery, Ramey.
