Obituary for Georgeline McCoy
Georgeline Bloom McCoy, 80, of Smithmill, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at her home.
Born on October 16, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Bloom and Mary (Malinky) Evanochko. She was a 1960 graduate of Moshannon Valley High School. She married the love of her life, Thomas A. McCoy, who survives at home.
Georgeline was of the Christian faith and was a dedicated homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest joys were spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Joseline Hansel, another sister, Linda Hawkins, and her infant son, Christopher Charles.
Georgeline is survived by her husband Rev. Thomas McCoy, three daughters, Cindy Mills, and her husband Paul Scott, of Osceola Mills, Tammy Cree, and her fiancé Duane Pataky, of Smithmill, Nancy Mencer, and her husband Kenneth of Fallentimber; and a son, Thomas Patrick, and his fiancé Tatiana Zaldumbide, of Smithmill.
She is also survived by her brother, Chester Hawkins, and his wife Elizabeth, of Clearfield; four grandchildren, Kelsey Henry, and her husband Aaron, Ethan Cree, and his wife Hillary, Matthew Mencer, and his fiancé Ashley Fyock, and Dane Mencer, and his fiancé Stephanie Hamilton; five great-grandchildren, Marley Reese, Mila Mencer, Emlyn Mencer, Blaire Henry, and Reed Henry.
Funeral Services will be held at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 2550 Union St., Ramey, PA on Wednesday, July 6th at 11:00 AM with Pastor Kate Sillman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will be at Beulah Cemetery in Ramey.
