Obituary for Helen Renbarger

Helen (Warholic) Renbarger, age 86, resident of Beacon, NY for the past 50 years, died Sunday, December 21, 2014, at Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 29, 1928, in Utahville, Pa.
Mrs. Renbarger retired from IBM in Poughkeepsie, where she worked for 22 years. Previously she was employed by Glastics Corp in Cleveland, Ohio.

Helen was directly involved in the care and upbringing of her four grandchildren who were her greatest joy. Helen was so grateful for the blessing of time spent with her great-grandchildren. With her warm ways she embraced all children and infants. She loved having company at her house in PA and for many years hosted Easter morning breakfast for the extended family.

Survivors are her son, Charles (Andrea) Lambert of Middletown, NY, grandchildren; Jason (Karen) Lambert of Scotia, NY and their children Claire, Jack and Stella, Robin (James) Brownell of Poughkeepsie, NY and their daughter Farrah, Eric (Jenifer) Lambert of Browns Mills, NJ and their children Gabrielle, Alyson and Ryan and Katherine Lambert of Vista, CA.
She is also survived by two brothers; Frank (Martha) Warholic and Nick (Barbara) Warholic, and sisters; Marie Kitko, Margaret Wrobleski, Eleanor Patricia (Earl) Berkstresser, Gloria Jean Gmerek and Josephine (Ray) Lowe.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Charlotte, parents, George and Mary Warholic, four brothers; Michael, John, Wasco and George and two sisters; Katherine Raico and Anna Howiler.

Family will receive friends Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 9-10:30 at the Kruise-Spewock Funeral Home & Cremation, Ramey, PA. A memorial mass will follow at 11:00 AM in Christ the King Catholic Church, Houtzdale with Fr. Marc J. Solomon officiating. Private interment will be in Assumption Cemetery in Cortland Manor, NY. In lieu of flowers or donations the family asks that you perform acts of compassion and assistance to those less fortunate.
