Howard Peachman, 92, of Smokerun, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018, at Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg.
Born on December 6, 1925 in Bigler Twp., he was the son of the late Harry and Mary (Siford) Peachman.
He was a US Army veteran of WWII, and a member of Richard L. Beers VFW Post #7043.
On June 11, 1949, he married Margaret Neosel in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ramey. She preceded him in death in 2001.
He will be deeply missed by two children, Howard David Peachman, and his wife Mary Kay, of Glen Hope, and Kathryn Baronner, and her husband David, of Altoona; four grandchildren, Kristina Peachman, David (Cristina)Peachman, Jeffrey (Lauren) Peachman, and Brandon (Erin) Baronner; and three great-grandchildren, Darren Peachman, Ryan Peachman, and Olivia Baronner.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Ralph Peachman, and six sisters, Florence David, Evelyn McGirk, Martha Moore, Helen Gladis, Hazel Williams, and Mary McCoy.
Family will receive friends Saturday from 10 am until the time of services at 1 PM in Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Ramey. Father Zab Amar will officiate. Military Honors will follow provided by Richard L. Beers VFW Post# 7043. Burial will be private.
