Obituary for John Kania Jr.
John S. “Jack” Kania, Jr., 85 of Ramey, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born October 3, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late John S. Kania, Sr. and Kathryn “Kitty” (Smolen) Kania.
He worked as a clerk at Con-Edison Light and Power Company in New York.
He is survived by a brother, Dr. Robert J. Kania, and his wife Virginia, of Sewickley, PA, nine nieces and nephews, and eighteen great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services and interment in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
