Joseph M Johnson, 56, of Madera, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015 at UPMC Altoona.

Born on March 12, 1959 in Clearfield, he was the son of Glenn C. Johnson of Madera, and late Ethel (McMurray) Johnson.

He was a 1977 graduate of Moshannon Valley High School.

He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Houtzdale, and was a carpenter by trade.

Friends will be received 2-4 & 7-9 PM Monday and 9:30-10:30 AM Tuesday at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Ramey.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Tuesday in Christ the King Catholic Church, Houtzdale. Fr. Marc J. Solomon will be celebrant. Interment to follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Houtzdale.
