Josephine Marie “Jessie” Wetherson. 94, of Ramey, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 at Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehab, Clearfield.

Born on October 23, 1923 in Ramey, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Matchock) Redzensky.

Jessie was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Houtzdale, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters of America St. Victoria Court #646. She also enjoyed ceramics, dancing, and playing the harmonica.

She is survived by a son, Robert Dale Wetherson, Jr of Ramey, a daughter, Mary Beth Wetherson of Clearfield, and a grandson, Joshua Wetherson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert D. Wetherson, Sr., a son Francis “Tony” Wetherson, five brothers, Frank, John, Tom, Joe, and Stanley Redzensky, and five sisters, Mary Eckberg Frank, Helen and Frances Redzensky, Martha Huber, and Annie Galvin.

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday and 9:30-10:30 AM Thursday in Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Ramey. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Thursday in Christ the King Catholic Church, with Rev. Marc J. Solomon as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Houtzdale.
