Loretta Mae Potter, 92, of Philipsburg, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehab Center, Clearfield.
Born on June 15, 1926 in Knox Twp., she was the daughter of the late Edward and Alvaretta (Fetters) Hugill-Richards.
On April 20, 1963 she married Harold Potter in the Madera UMC. He preceded her in death in 2003. Loretta worked as a caregiver and also a sewing machine operator for JBC in Madera, Viceroy sportswear in Osceola Mills, and Navasky’s in Philipsburg. She was a member of Madera UMC.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Maude Warrick, and three brothers, Franklin, John, and Clair Hugill.
Friends will be received 6-8 PM Saturday at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Madera, where funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 PM. Interment will be private in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Grassflat.
