Obituary for Marvin Myers

Marvin P. Myers, 76, of Clearfield, formerly of Madera, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Mountain Laurel Nursing Home, Clearfield.
Born on May 22, 1945 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late Philbert and Mabel (Miller) Myers.
On January 28, 1969, he married Linda Fry in Winchester, VA. She survives him at home.
He was a veteran of the US Army, honorably serving his country during the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed woodworking and gardening at his home in Madera. Pappy loved spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he will be deeply missed by his five children, Kevin Myers of Madera, Robert “Philbert” (Janette) Myers of Madera, Brian (Melissa) Myers of Houtzdale, Michael (Miki) Myers of Clearfield, and Sherry Smith of Madera; a brother, William (Alice) Myers of Altoona; seven grandchildren, Morgan Myers, Jessica Stanowski, Emily Smith, Raven Myers, Brooklyn Myers, Christopher Myers, Kamdyn Myers; and two great-grandchildren, Chase and Jayson Stanowski; brother-in-law Robert (Donna) Fry of Houtzdale; and aunt Lois Smith of Glen Hope; and several step-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Myers; and two sisters, Mabel George and Gale Droll.
Services and Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
