Mary (Glusko) Zazvrskey, 89, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Madera, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at HCR Manorcare, Whitehall.

Born May 10, 1926 in Smoke Run, PA, she was the daughter of the late Metro and Susan (Wavro) Glusko.

Mary was a member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ramey. She worked as flower arranger, a seamstress, and a homemaker.

She is survived by four daughters, Connie Dugan, and her husband Michael of Madera, Cindy Roseweir and Linda Zazvrskey, both of Pittsburgh, and Brenda Zazvrskey of CA; one sister, Ann Sobol of Kenmore, NY; and five grandchildren, Christie, Ryan, Jason, Justin, Jessica.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Zazvrskey, and seven brothers, George, Walter, John, Joe, Mike, Victor, and Metro.

Friends will be received at the Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Madera, PA on Wednesday from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. A Parastas services will be sung at 7 PM Wednesday in the funeral home with Fr. Anthony Balistreri.

A Panikhida Service will be 1:00 PM Thursday at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ramey, PA, with Fr. Anthony Balistreri officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Ramey.
