Obituary for Patty Jean Rebar

Patricia “Patty” Rebar, 57, of Ramey, passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family, where she was cared for and loved by them unconditionally.
Born on August 26, 1959 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late John “Jack” and Mary (Rapsey) Williams.
Patty was a 1977 graduate of Moshannon Valley High School. She began her love of education when she attended Westmoreland Hospital, where she became a certified laboratory assistant in 1978. In 1997, she earned her Associate of Applied Science from Saint Francis College. In 2010, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science from Saint Francis University. Along with an aspiration for education, she was a devote employee at UPMC-Altoona for her thirty-seven years. She retired from UPMC-Altoona as an Assistant Laboratory Supervisor of Microbiology in 2015.
On April 21, 1979 she married her high school sweetheart and love of her life. She is survived by her beloved husband, Daniel Rebar; three loving children, Sarah Fye, and her husband Justin, Nicholas Rebar, and his wife Mallori, Molly Mills, and her husband Andrew, all of Ramey; three siblings, Mary Claire Johnston of Punxsutawney,PA, Beth Ann Bach of Whiting, IN, and Christopher Williams of Avondale, PA; and a mother-in-law, June Rebar.
“MumMum” leaves behind five grandchildren, Natalie Mills, Lydia Mills, Quinn Rebar, Elyse Mills, and Hudson Rebar; who were loved by her unequivocally.
Friends will be received at the Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Ramey on Wednesday from 5-8 PM and Thursday from 9:00-10:15 AM. Parastas will be sung Wednesday at 7:45 PM.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ramey with Rev. Anthony Balistreri officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Cemetery, Ramey.
