Obituary for Paul A. Daniel

Paul A. Daniel, 81, of Henderson, RD Houtzdale, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital.
Born on April 29, 1941 in Henderson, he was the son of the late Adam and Anna (Yebernetsky) Daniel.
He was a 1959 graduate of the Moshannon Valley Joint High School and was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ramey. Paul served in the U.S. Army as a Radio Technician from 1959-1962, he also served in the Army Reserves from 1962-1965. He worked as the motor repairman for General Motors in Linden, NJ for 30 years.
On May 1, 1965 in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ramey, he married Ann Lazeration. She survives at home.
He was a member of the Houtzdale American Legion Freeberg Post #591; Houtzdale Moose, Blackburn Hunting Club, and the UMWA Local #595 Amherst, NY. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and was a collector of pocket knives.
Paul is survived by a niece, Michelle (Scott) Kephart, and a nephew, Michael (Janiel) Daniel, and numerous other nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a sister, Kathleen (Donald) Kokoskie of Cleveland, OH.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Michael, George, and Edward Daniel, and a nephew Daniel Kokoskie.
Friends will be received on Friday from 9 AM until the time of service at 11 AM at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ramey. Fr. Jim Davidson will officiate. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Houtzdale/Ramey EMS or the Houtzdale Fire Co.
