Obituary for Roxanne Carter

On July 31st, 2021, Roxanne Carter, of Houtzdale, was called home to be with her husband Dave. In death she is also joined by her father William Litzinger, her brother Jerry Litzinger, and her maternal grandmother, Genevieve Howe. Born on April 25th, of 1960, Roxanne made a beautiful life and family and will be survived by her partner of nearly 23 years, Steve Reader, of Houtzdale, his daughter, Morgan, and her son Emmett. Roxanne also leaves behind her five daughters shared with Dave, and their grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Amongst the survived are April L. Carter and her partner Johnny, of Madera, alongside her children, William, Kimberly and her fiancé Brandon, Mark and his partner Mary, and Makaila and her partner TreVon, and eight grandchildren, Kadience, Lyric, Maddie, Lilly, Madalynn, Colter, Aryn, and Mavric, Dana M. Carter, of Clearfield, her two children, Corey and his fiancé Heather, and Alexa, and her granddaughter Arliee, Karrie A. Lutchko, of Belsena Mills, along with her two daughters, Autum Francisco and her husband Brandon, of Madera, and Abbagail and her partner Branden, Jodi L. Bartek, of Madera, her husband John, and their children, Tyler, Matthew, Crystal, Jerry, Lacey, and Jack, and their grandson, James, Debi J. Lane, of Smokerun, her husband Stacy, and their two children, Daviona, her fiancé Allen and Jarred, and his fiancé Ashlynn, her bonus son from her marriage, Matthew E. McGarry, of Philipsburg, his wife Melva, and their two daughters, Kiersten and Kayleigh and her bonus daughter, Kerri Wheeler, of brookville. Roxanne is also survived by her mother, Delores Litzinger, of Clearfield, three brothers, Denver, Butch, and Robert, and four sisters, Tena, Karen, Lori, and Crystal. Services for Roxanne will be held at Kruise-Spewock funeral home, of Madera, on Friday August 6th, 2021, with two viewing times of 2-4pm and 6-8pm, and Saturday August 7th, 2021, with one viewing time from 10am-11am, and a funeral service that will begin at 11am. Pastor Robert Ford will officiate. A dinner will follow the services. Roxanne made it her duty to always love harder than she was loved, and due to this, she made an impact on many lives.
