Obituary for Roy Robert Clark Sr.

Roy Robert Clark, Sr., 75, of New Millport, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016 at his residence.

Born on March 4, 1940 in Clearfield, he was the son of the late Robert and Alzada (Miller) Clark.

Roy served 4 years in the Army National Guard. He was a member of Oak Ridge Union Church, where he was the song leader. He worked as a truck driver for Roger Kephart, and equipment operator for Glenn O. Hawbaker.

He married Shirley Jasper on December 6, 1958. She passed away August 8, 2003.

He then married Charlotte Litzinger on March 28, 2005, and she survives at home.

He was an avid horseman, and also enjoyed fishing, hunting and four wheelers, but above all, Roy loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Robin Baney and Teresa Hamilton, both of Clearfield; three sons, Roy Clark, Jr., and his wife Cheryl, Steven Clark, and his wife Barbie, of Clearfield, and Adam “Buck” Clark, and his wife Melody, of Osceola Mills; two step-sons, David McLaughlin, and his wife Nikki, and John McLaughlin, both of Evansville, IN; two sisters, Nancy Cathcart of Olanta, and Virginia Martinez of Ocala, FL; and one brother, Wayne Clark, and his wife Bonnie, of Williamsport, PA.

He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends 2-4 & 7-9 PM Monday, and from 9:30 AM until the time of Services at 11 AM Tuesday at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Madera. Private burial will take place in Alexander Cemetery, Madera.
