Susan Priest

Susan (Collenich) Priest, 91, of Port Orange, FL, and formerly of Smithmill, PA, passed away on Wednesday, Feb 4, 2015 at Port Orange.

Born Nov. 18, 1923 in the village of Fernwood near Smithmill, PA; she was the daughter of the late Harry (Collenich) Kulynych and Mary (Pohlid) Kulynych.

Susan was a parishioner of Holy Dormition Byzantine Catholic Church, Ormond

Beach, FL where she was a beloved member of the church.

Susan is survived by one sister, Irene Fisher and her husband, Bill of Pittsburgh, PA, and two brothers, Charles Kulynych, and his wife Shirley of Thomasville, PA, and George Kulynych, and his wife Betty of Knoxville, TN.

She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, all who loved Susan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine siblings; Anna Sass, Helen Summers, Mary Gabriel, Katherine Onody and Petro Kulynych, plus an infant sister, and three infant brothers,

Friends will be received at the Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Ramey, PA on Wednesday from 7-9 PM and on Thursday from 9:30-10:30 AM. A Parastas services will be sung at 7 PM Wednesday in the funeral home with Fr. Anthony Balistreri.

A Panikhida Service will be 11:00 AM Thursday at St. Mary"s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ramey, PA, with Fr. Anthony Balistreri officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary"s Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Ramey, PA, next to her parents.
