Ann (Swincicki) Moscollic, age 96, of Indiana, PA, formerly of Houtzdale, went to meet the Lord on May 18, 2019 at her home. Ann was born in Osceola Mills, PA on July 18, 1922 to John and Antonia (Galembiosko) Swincicki.
Ann led an exceptional and multi-faceted life, sharing her time between Pennsylvania, New York, Arizona, and Maryland. With her husband Mike Moscollic, Ann was an accomplished marksman and angler. She enjoyed deer hunting in the forests and fly fishing in the streams surrounding Houtzdale. Ann cherished her time on the family pontoon boat, fishing with friends and loved ones. Ann had a passion for gardening and was an extraordinary cook and baker specializing in traditional Polish favorites.
Ann exceled at the arts. She was a self-taught pianist and guitar player and acted in the community theatre. Her true calling, however, was with paint and brush. She created striking landscapes, portraits and scenes in water colors and oils. Ann entered many of her paintings in the Clearfield County Fair which garnered her numerous ribbons. Ann was also skilled in the delicate art of Pysanky or Ukrainian egg decorating. She passed her artistic talents on to a number of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and also to the public via the coveted courses she taught over the years. One of Ann’s fondest memories was attending the Native American hoop dancing competitions in Arizona. This became a subject of her canvas.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Moscollic, her parents, four sisters, Stella Bartek, Helen Smotzer, Mary Epstein, and Irene Drochak, and three brothers, Peto, Charlie, and Joe.
She is survived by three daughters, Virginia Peles, Carol Moessinger, and Irene Pino, seven grandchildren, Paulette Howe, Joe Peles, Greg Peles, Jimmy Cowie, Teresa Cowie, Anna Mastromanolis Pino, and Joe Pino, and thirteen great-granchildren, Alexandra Howe, John Howe, Joey Peles, Teddy Peles, Abigail Neal, Katie Peles, Wyletta Cowie, Anthony Pino, Allyson Pino, Angelina Pino, Emmanuel Mastromanolis, Antonio Mastromanolis, and Guiseppi Mastromanolis.
Family will receive friends 3-6 pm Tuesday and from 10-10:45 am Wednesday at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Madera.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Wednesday at Christ the King Parish, Houtzdale, with Fr. Marc J. Solomon as celebrant. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Madera.

Always remembering Aunt Annie treating us to lunch at a Clearfield restaurant. We had good food and great conversation and enjoying each other's company and the many times around the kitchen table in their home with the homemade bread and nut roll and don't forget the horns that everyone wanted her to make. I think I might have her recipe! We got to get peaks at the newest picture she painted always remembering the one of beloved Uncle Mike and his grandson walking hand and hand in the woods. It was just a treasure spending time with them both. Tried to learn the art of pysanky egg making from her but never mastered it. Always wanted to take her art class but never did. Remembering all the moments with her and wishing there were more.
